On Friday January 5, just after 0700 hours (7:00 am), the box alarm was sounded for 4800 block of Bushey Road for a house fire. Initial units had arrived on the scene of a structure alarm dispatch and found a working fire in the roof and attic and requested additional units. E12 assisted in containing the fire and checking for extension. Rescue 1 assisted with personnel and RIT. Units operated for several hours before returning to service. Damage to the house was significant.
